WordPress Upgrading = Disaster

I’m having issues with wordpress right now so nothing works on my blog.

Simple Tip: Never upgrade your blog unless it’s totally required.

Man I wish I can go back in time and not have upgraded!

10:24am The Issue is finally fixed! I don’t think I will ever upgrade again. Thanks to upgrading to wordpress 2.3.2 I lost 2 comments on my previous post!

    i updated my version of wordpress and mine works fine besides linking in a post.it totally ads in symbols and stuff.it is strange lol.

        Don’t update your wordpress is bad advice, they make new versions for a reason – safety, new features, safety, to fix bugs and safety. Did you back up your previous wordpress database before you upgraded?

        It can be a pain in the booty, but it’s really worth the trouble. Hope things get sorted!

          That is why I sad “unless it’s totally required”. WordPress makes upgrades, but they don’t fix all the bugs before releasing it. When I upgraded ever page went to a 404 page and I was unable to login. The upgrade also deleted all my categories so thank God for backups or else I would’ve been shit out of luck!

            I’m about two versions behind of the most recent WP upgrade, LOL. I’m sure that most people don’t have troubles upgrading, but I’m so paranoid and I’ve had such hard times installing WordPress that I prefer to take my chances and leave it as it is =P
