I put together the HTML newsletter today. It had the employmentguide.com logo on the top left hand side and the title of the newsletter on the right. I then added the content below: Two brief information paragraphs with a link containing more detailed information, an ad special ad, and for fun a weekly quote.
I sent it to my boss and he said he wants to do a test run and see how the HTML one does compared to a plain text newsletter. According to our response will depend on which newsletter we are going to use.I might make two newsletters a week so I can always have one ready in advance.
I started learning how to use a new software today too. It’s like a database (MS Access). I won’t be working in it as much as the Sales Consultants, but I do need to know the software in case I need to change something so I’m learning this new system along with everyone else.
I wonder if I’ll being doing anything new tomorrow. I hope so because when you don’t have anything to do it makes time drag.
I can’t wait to get paid. I’m down to my last dollar and I had to call the electric company yesterday to request an extension since I have 2 more weeks before I get any money. What do I have to do when I finally do get paid?
- Pay the Electric Bill
- Pay the Phone/Internet Bill
- Open a new bank account
- Buy Elijah some school clothes
- Buy my relaxer
- Hopefully get a pedicure (I believe I’ve earned that)
- Pay childcare expenses
I think I’m going to end up paying the rent a few days late too because of the way the calendar runs. It really sucks that I could’ve started working sooner.

You sound a lot like me as I was struggling to take care of my sisters after my mom died. Don’t worry, though, everything will work itself out. Try not to think about it too much though, trust me. It will give you a headache and completely stress you out. There are always solutions to problems that aren’t always in front of you.
