I have yet to see that movie and I call myself a Denzel Washington fan.

Congrats on getting a new place! I'm truly happy for you because I can totally relate to your situation, especially when you mentioned the mice in the walls. I couldn't go to sleep one night because of that racket.

I can also understand how you are offended by what someone thought was thoughtful. If it were me, I'd definitely leave that note. I could understand if it were items that weren't outdated, opened, etc. Hell, if it beats going to the store to buy, I'll take it. But as you mentioned, giving you and your family LEFTOVERS, that is a little too much!

I'm not a very religious person, but I believe in God. However, my opinion is that the Bible is a guide to life. I think that everyone is entitled to interpret how they see it to fit their own individual lives or struggle. One of the reasons why some things are misinterpreted so terribly is that everyone is brought up to believe that some things are to be taken as they are seen written in the Bible. Everything in this world can be viewed at different standpoints. I believe that even if someone interprets something a different way than another person, if it's meant in a good way or with good intent, then there's nothing wrong with it.

Your living situation sounds unbearable and I'm happy to hear that you guys are getting out of that situation. Although it's a nice gesture what these people are doing, I can see why you would find it offensive and they should take that into consideration also.

Out here no one would do that, they'd just call you poor and not help you out at all.

omg wasn't The Book of Eli a good movie. Idk if it was me or whatever but my cousins say Denzel shouldn't have played that role. But I think he played it okay. So did you move into the house? I hope all is going good.
