Constant Drama
I’m 4 centimeters dilated so far, but the baby’s face is facing my tummy instead of my back. Come on now little boy stop being so difficult! If he was facing my back I’d go right into full labor and this pregnancy can be over. With him in that position it will not only prolong the pregnancy, but the labor as well.
My midwife gave me some techniques to get him to turn. Hopefully he won’t be so darn stubborn and turn soon like tonight so I can get this over with.
My car is finally finished! I got it back today and man there was a lot of stuff wrong with the car. T.K.P. really gave me a piece of junk for as much as they charged for it. Word of advice…”Don’t buy “Buy Here Pay Here” cars EVER!!” Even the mechanic that worked on it agreed. Here’s a list of all the shit that was wrong with that car:
- Tune up
- Spark plugs
- Brakes
- Rear hub bearings
- lug nuts
- struts
- tires
- brake hose
- Electrical system
- Passenger door (wires, leaking water)
And that’s just a general list of things because I don’t know the details of each part. I’ve only had that car for almost 2 years. There is no way all this stuff can be wrong with it because of me. It was a piece of junk when I bought it.
Earlier today I got into with maintenance because Destin almost fell out the window last week. He was looking out the window and then the screen, for the 4th time came dislodged from the frame again! The screen went tumbling to the ground and stayed there for 2 days. No one even attempted to fix it. They just let it sit there until Jea’neene said something to them about it because I’m tired of complaining about the same shit to them just to get stupid, defensive letters in return.
The following day the screen came out the window again (#5) and had been sitting outside for an entire week. No one even attempted to fix it. I called the Housing Authority and left them a message about the problems I’ve been having because enough is enough.
Last night I had it with them and not having a screen so I took pictures of the missing screen and wrote them a letter about the screen again:
August 21st, 2007
To Whom it should concern:
I have notified you several times about the same screen in my home becoming dislodged from the window frame and all you do is put the raggedy screen back in the window just to become dislodged again.
On Sunday the 12th my one year old was looking out the window and he put his little forehead against the screen. I observed the screen coming dislodged from the window with just that little nudge of his head and had to grab my son so he didn’t fall out the window with the screen. The screen fell to the ground outside and my sister had to tell maintenance on Tuesday August 14th to put the screen back. The screen sat outside for 2 days until someone noticed it and it’s a shame my sister had to tell maintenance to fix it. The following day the screen fell out the window again and has been sitting outside since August 15th.
I didn’t notify you because I figured someone would have enough sense to notice it and fix it. I’m also tired of the rude response letters from you.
This is the last time I will request that you fix this screen. My son could’ve suffered serious injuries and even death because instead of replacing the defective piece of junk you continue to put it back in the window. The screen needs to be completely replaced and if this isn’t done soon I will report the safety hazard to the Housing Authority because my 1 year-old should be able to look out the window without falling out of it and I shouldn’t have to sit in a hot apartment at 9 months pregnant because I can’t open the window.
I will appreciate it if you will just do your job and not respond to me with any rude defensive letters.
When maintenance got here I asked him “Is it going to come out the window again?” He had the nerve to get all hostile with me telling me to take it up with the leasing office. I told him “I did that’s why you are here! This is the 5th time the screen has been replaced!” He kept being defensive when I said “You would feel the same damn way if your child almost fell out the window!” Then he goes on about not letting the blinds touch the screen and to not touch the screen trying to make it like its MY fault or something. What kind of shit is that? When does blinds make a screen come out the window? If that’s the case the screen isn’t in the window right because if blinds can make the screen come out the window so can the wind blowing. How senseless!
Then I noticed there was a gap between the frame of the window and the screen. I told him and he kept making excuses and being rude. When he did that I just went silent and got on the PC to get the number to the Housing Authority. I had it with them. I guess he knew it was on when I started dialing the phone. He had the nerve to get some duck tape and tape the screen into the window. How lazy and unprofessional!
When I got the Housing Authority I gave them the address and they said they will be coming to do an inspection. Hilltop Estates are in for a rude awakening.
