Making Progress

Okay. So I think I finally found a way to make this layout look the same in most browsers. It should appear the same in IE 6 and 7 along with Firefox. It took a few IE hacks and just a bit of coding to make it work. I used a screen shot service at browsercam.com and I noticed the only major problem was the login/register link, my search form, and the top navigation links which in different browsers and sizes were off. Now I have to send the browser cam off a second time to check my web page one more time because I don’t have every version of Firefox, IE, Opera, Safari, etc. on my computer. The results were much better. The links at the top and the search form all appeared in the correct spot in IE 6 & 7 Safari 2 and 3, Firefox and Opera!

Usually my layouts aren’t so complicated, but this by far was the most complicated one I’ve ever had. I’ve fix that issue, but the footer issue still remains a problem. I’m really out of ideas of how to fix it.

    Oh yeah I see the navigation is fixed Looks much better now!!!

    I’m not sure how to fix the footer, perhaps you should alter its width or something?

    I also have problems with my site’s layout (mainly because of WordPress plug-ins and code snippets from link exchanges and such, that aren’t XHTML compliant -.-) so I might make a new one for mine soon. ^^

          The site looks really great and I just know it must be really hard for you to try to work out how to make sure it looks perfect in every browser. Wouldn’t the world be easier if everyone just used the same one? Haha. Anyway I use http://browsershots.org to help me out to work out how its looking in different browsers! I hope this can help you out too!
