samaraI haven’t wrote in my blog in a while, I’ve been eithier tired or busy. So what’s been going on?
On Friday I went to see “Stomp the Yard”. It was a pretty good movie. The beginning reminded me of “You got Served” because it was the same scenario. I knew Chris Brown was going to die. I mean what singer really stays alive the whole movie? And if they do they get very brief parts like Neo did. It was better when they incoporated the “You got Served” dancing with the sorority stepping, but toward the end of the movie it was the “You got Served” scenario again, not very original.
Movie Grade: -B
Pros: Good dance moves and story line.
Cons: Lack of originality in some areas.
On Saturday I went to the Cosmopolitan with my friends Tenisha and James. We had such a good time! I wore my cream sleeveless shirt with the lace up front trimed with cream lace, some jeans and my cream knee high eskimo boots. Tenisha had some dark colored jeans with these cute black boots with gold studs on the side a brown belt that tied on the side and a black fitted top. I never seen her dress like that before. She looked really nice. They both shared a pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea and beer (yuck) and they were so drunk. I had 2 virgin pina coladas (yum) when I got thirsty. It was fun, just the cigarette smoke bothered more than usual. I never knew they smoked that much in there. I was chocking, my throat was sore the next day and my hair had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. I see why they say when you are pregnant the smell of cigarettes are intensified (times 10!). It was horrible I couldn’t wait for the smell to leave my hair. I felt so guilty about it that I decided not to go dancing again until the baby is born. I’ll go out to eat or to the movies next time.
Then on Sunday I went and got my nails done. I got gel nails because acrylic contains cancer causing agents and it makes your nails weak. Gel contains calcuim and actually strenghtens your nails. It also looks more natural like your real nail. I showed my sister yesterday and she thought they were my real nails. I guess you can say they are except my thumb nail. I had them do my nails short, like a sporty length. I hate long nails, they look gross and they get in the way.
Yesterday, I put aurburn highlights in my sisters hair. I cut her hair 2 weeks ago when I relaxed her hair and she was going on about wanting highlights. She’s been talking about getting highlights for 2 months so yesterday she finally got them. I styled her hair and that was that.
So that’s how my weekend went. Besides that I was tired and was resting most of the time. Destin learned how to eat with a spoon. He used to always get a spoon and a bowl and play like he’s scooping something up. So yesterday I made him a bowl of applesauce. I handed him the spoon and went to put the applesauce away. When I came back he was scooping it up himself. So I let him feed himself and he didn’t do such a bad job. A little messier than if I fed him, but it’s a start. Today he fed himself oatmeal for breakfast, he was such a mess.
I went to the ministry and deliverance forum the other day and told them about my cousin and I got alot of input. They said he has the spirit of Anti-Christ and I shouldn’t let him pray on me and be around him. I agree with them fully. I haven’t had him around me since that last conversation. They said he has multiple demons on him which is true. I discerned a few including the spirit of anti-christ, a pervese demon, and a spirit of pride. I know there’s more, but that’s all I could discern at the time. It seems like Satan tries to attack me in every area using anything and anyone. He really doesn’t want me to be able to tap into my annointing.
