New Theme: Faerieland
Sunday, March 23rd, 2008I’ve been working on a new theme for the last few weeks and today I decided to launch it to the net. I know that there may still be some minor bugs that need to be smoothed out, but the overall theme is functioning properly. This particular them looks good in both Firefox and IE 7 under 1024×768 resolution. It will not look so great in resolutions smaller than this because of the style of the theme so if you are using a 800×600 resolution or smaller you will have to change your settings to view my web page properly and if you are using IE 6 and below you should upgrade.
I’ve been so busy with work and the kids and everything. Elijah just had his 6th birthday on the 16th so I bought season passes to both Adventure Island and Busch Gardens for the both of us and took him for a fun day at Busch Gardens. He had tons of fun, but I was so exhausted when I got home. I was planning on washing my hair and taking a shower when I got in because I got on a water ride and I looked like crap, but I ended up falling asleep still in my bathrobe while I was on the phone with my mom.
The reason I was so tired was because I got no sleep the night before and on my way to Busch Gardens my car broke down so my son and I had to walk to the park after waiting forever for Jeremy to arrive whom for some reason couldn’t find us.
So here’s what happened…
I decided to stop at Amscot and cash my check. Some guy asked me for a few dollars because he was hungry so instead of giving him money I went to the dollar store and bought him something to eat. I don’t like giving a total stranger money because he could be a “crack-head” for all I know and I’m not going to fund anyones drug habit. I went back to my car and my cars transmission started acting up. It wouldn’t go past 30 miles an hour so I pulled over into a hotel and to my surprise all my transmission fluid just leaked out. This fuckin’ car just won’t quit with giving me issues! You fix one thing and another thing goes wrong! It cost me $72 to tow it and another $122 to fix the piece of junk!
Speaking of that don’t let me forget to mention that on my way to work last week some asshole hit my car and kept going. The idiot didn’t care to stop! Instead they seemed to drive faster almost flipping their car over to make sure I didn’t get their license plate so now I have a fucked up car both inside and out. Fuckin’ bastard! I was right about this state being the state of the worst drivers in the country.
Well enough of my rants for today! I’m off to return my comments and work through my new themes bugs!
