I'm reassured that God is in favor of those that take care of their children and provide for them as they should. No one can fathom how hard it is to take care of children on their own. Guys don't understand how they should be in their child's life because there are things that a mother just can't teach them. I can't say that I won't try because at this point, I don't want anything to do with my son's father. You're a strong woman. =) I didn’t even know that verse was in the Bible. It's definitely best for the boys. My son's father helps me a lot but my daughter's father seems to be too worried about me than our daughter so I had to make the choice to cut him off. Sometimes it's best that the fathers are not around to keep the tension away. The father of your youngest two seems like a very disgusting and dishonorable man and I hope that he learns his lesson in life. I’m glad that you and Brian decided to make that decision. And as far as your post today I feel really bad for what you've been through .. my mom was a single parent to us 4 kids and she hide her troubles well, never complained to us about our father and always had a good spirit, positive .. and did everything she could to give us what we wanted .. even if it was taking out student loans for christmas and etc .. but my sted dad adopted us and I haven't seen my dad since I was 10 and im so happy I have a great new father, he's a great grand dad as well. So im really also happy you have someone in your life like Brian because their aren't that many guys at all who are willing to play the father role to their own kids let alone someone elses. You are really lucky :) I really wish you all the best of luck and I believe you are doing the right thing with "hiding" the real problems like my mother. I'm sure they won't regret it!
