Virgin Tropical Sunrise
I’ve been really exhausted and or busy lately so I haven’t been able to update as often as I would like. Between dealing with my pregnancy and being a mother and trying to get things together within our home it’s been pretty draining. Anyways during all the chaos I managed to come up with this little pregnant friendly drink. I’ve been having leg cramps and I tried some different combination’s of things to find a solution. I hope you enjoy this little recipe of mine!
Virgin Tropical Sunrise
- 1/2 cup of chilled mango nectar
- 1/2 cup of chilled pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup of chilled orange juice
- 1/2 cup of chilled sparkling water or tonic water (for leg cramps)
Pour all ingredients together in a glass and stir to blend with a spoon. Enjoy!
Note: For a pretty sunset version top off with 1/4 teaspoon of grenadine.

I think March has been a slow month for everyone.
I know this may sound crazy, but when I had leg cramps (and I had them a lot) I would rub mustard on the cramps. It ALWAYS worked for me. You also may want to just elevate your legs. I hope it gets easier for you. Pregnancy is a very difficult process but the end result is so wonderful!
I never tried the mustard remedy but I do agree with leg elevation. Also, when I was pregnant with my daughter, my legs, feet and ankles would swell and I found that elevating them relieved those issues.
Hm I can’t remember if I had leg cramps like that, obviously if so it wasn’t bad if I can’t remember. But I had back pain with my son Jesse. I blew up so big, it was like walking around carrying a few tires. I’m so excited for you. I love the feeling of being pregnant, alot of people I know don’t but I think it’s just so neat having this little human inside of you, living and breathing. STOP IT LINZ! Lol i’m pretty sure we’re done at 2 but then when I talk to people who are pregnant I get into stage again! Good luck~! Oh ya by the way your drink sounds so delicious im gonna have to try it!
