I used to fix stuff around the house and send the receipt and the expenses to them with a before and after pic. Every month I ended up paying about $650 when my rent was $825. But the irony of that is that house STILL wasn't worth $650. -smh- I experienced the same. He should be permanently shut down because it's insane that you had so many problems with his place. My landlord is slummy too, I have to basically get other people to fix things around the house since he refuses to do so. I take it out of the rent too, and he doesn't say anything because he knows that he's wrong! I honestly cannot wait to get out of here.
