Working at the Employment Guide
I started work on Monday so that’s my excuse for not posting lately. I’ve been really busy trying to get used to this new job. As soon as the boys start daycare and Elijah starts this new private school I will then have to adjust again to that schedule.
The last couple of days have been pretty boring at work because I haven’t done a lot of work. Today my boss gave me a new project to prepare a weekly newsletter for employers. I want it to be an HTML newsletter, but I have to figure out how to set it up like that in the email because instead of seeing the webpage/newsletter you see the coding.
At least that will give me something to do to keep me occupied. I have a lot of ideas regarding the blog too! For one my goal is to make sure that our blog is the most active blog since there are blogs for each community. I’m going to post new info daily. I’m also going to restyle the blog because the layout is terrible. I can’t post in a terrible looking blog. A good looking blog will make me more confident…if you know what I mean.
I also had some hands on with adding, editing, and deactivating job postings. That was really easy and I finished them in no time.
Next week they are sending me on a 3-day trip to Orlando to do some training with the top Internet Specialist in the south. I can’t wait! That way I’ll will finally have an idea of what I need to accomplish from day to day.






It sounds like you’re easing into your job though! It all seems like you can do it all and everything. Oooh, an HTML newsletter, seems pretty cool! It’ll probably be forwarded out?
